Dyeing Plant

Although capable of dyeing many other fibers, Tintalana has chosen—true to the spirit and tradition of the Biella area—to specialize in the dyeing of wool tops (including shrink-resistant treated wool) and other natural animal fibers (cashmere, alpaca, vicuña, and mohair). To this end, it operates 19 dyeing vessels of various sizes, managed by state-of-the-art control systems, as well as a Vigoureux printing machine. Daily production approaches 10 metric tons, with output packaged in bumps of 10 or 50 kg.

Thanks to a modern, well-equipped laboratory, particular attention is devoted to recipe development and to ensuring consistent and faithful color reproduction.

With approximately 90% of its activity carried out on behalf of third parties, Tintalana has made customer satisfaction—defined in terms of quality, service, and delivery speed throughout the year—its well-recognized strength. It can be considered an “atypical contract dyer,” as it chooses to view and manage its dyeing plant as an extension of its clients’ operations, which include renowned Italian and international brands.
