Through the use of a photovoltaic system, inverters, LED lighting, modern burners, heat and condensate recovery systems, and insulation of tanks and piping, the company has achieved significant reductions in gas and electricity consumption.

Thanks to automated systems for dosing dyes and auxiliaries, the use of manipulators, exoskeletons, and various forms of automation, Tintalana has reduced physical workload and improved the internal working environment, lowering risks for employees.

Environment

Through a careful policy in the selection of dyes and auxiliaries, Tintalana has reduced chemical risks for both workers and consumers and improved the quality of its effluents. The environmental impact of these discharges is further minimized by the decision to rely on an external public wastewater treatment facility. Although more costly than using the existing but unused internal plant, this solution ensures higher performance and avoids the risk of nuisance emissions affecting the surrounding community, as the dyeing plant is located in the town center of Sagliano Micca..
